Translation and interpretation

two very similar, yet slightly different disciplines

Oral interpretation requires promptness which is sometimes at the expense of accuracy.
Written translation requires accuracy and time and relies on experience of the translator.
Experience shows that very few people are excellent at both disciplines and some choose to focus on only one of the two. However, it is not impossible to be accomplished in both activities but it requires a good mix of theoretical grounding, preferably in a natural foreign language environment, and years of experience in the real environment.
If a single person with translation and interpretation skills handles a business case from the first correspondence, throughout the period of negotiation and final completion of an order, a substantial advantage is gained. This includes eliminating numerous potential misunderstandings that commonly arise when dealing with a foreign partner, which often lead to failed negotiations or problems at a later date.
